I size and fit air source heat pumps for houses that still have a gas boiler and draughty single-glazed rooms, so the system actually keeps up on a cold February morning. That means a room-by-room heat loss survey first, honest advice on which radiators have to grow, and a buffer arrangement that stops the unit short-cycling. Once it runs I set the weather compensation curve properly, which is where most of the saving on the electricity bill comes from.
